Handicapped Diving

Our Barakuda Diving Center in Abu Soma offers an excellent opportunity for persons with disabilities to take part in diving activities.

The transfer from Hurghada Airport is only about 30 Min and can be organized with specialized cars.

The Hotel is allotted with wheelchair accessible rooms that are all located in the main building. From there the Diving Center can be reached barrier free.

The Dive Center itself is open and wheelchair accessible.

Our boat, the Sahar, is equipped with a hoist arm to lift the divers in and out of the water. All barriers on the Sahar were removed, as far as possible. Also the Sahar is equipped with a wheelchair accessible toilet.

For educational purposes we have a handicapped accessible beach entry, where you can learn how to dive with one of our 3 Scubility Instructors. You can also enroll in the Scubility Instructor course.
