Palm Royal Soma Bay Resort

The luxurious Hotel opened in the beginning of 2004 and lies directly on a beautiful private beach in Abu Soma. A little headland covered with palm trees divides the bay into two beaches. The complex is located 12 km north of Safaga and about 45 km south of Hurghada.

The appealing and spacious complex with 445 rooms has an impressive lobby with reception, lifts, business center with internet (cost), main restaurants with non smoking areas as well as one Italian, one Greek, one oriental and one Fish à la carte restaurant, an English Pub, disco and a beauty spa. You can also find a small shopping area. The outdoor facilities include a big fresh water pool with sun deck and pool bar that also offers snacks. Sun loungers, umbrellas and beach towels are free at the beach and pool.

Handicapped and diving?

At the Palm Royal Soma Bay Resort it is possible. The Hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms and is barrier free. The way from the main building to the diving center is also barrier free. Abu Soma is about 30 minutes from Hurghada Airport and guaranties short transfers.
