Technical Diving

Tech Intro

TDI’s Intro to Tech is a stand-alone course for divers that want to learn more, whether you want to become a technical diver or not. At the same time Intro to Tech is an introduction that can be credited towards Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures courses. It is also a good refresher for those who are already technical divers but have not been in the water for some time.

Nitrox Diver

The TDI Nitrox course is an entry level course for divers, who want to use nitrox as a breathing gas that allows longer bottom times. During this course you will learn everything about the advantages, dangers and techniques that are necessary in order to dive with Nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen.

Advanced Nitrox Diver

The TDI Advanced Nitrox course qualifies you to use mixes from 21% to pure oxygen. It is set within the recreational diving limits (max 40m and within NDL’s); Advanced Nitrox can be combined with the TDI Decompression Procedures course and they are the real entry level courses for technical diving. Advanced Nitrox makes it possible to extend the NDL’s on shallower dives and is a must for rebreather divers.

Decompression Procedures Diver

In the TDI Decompression Procedures course you will learn the basics of performing dives that require staged decompression. With a maximum depth of 45m it is the first course to go beyond the limits of recreational diving. The TDI Decompression Procedures course can be combined with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course. You will learn how to work and dive with decompression tables and computer generated dive plans.

Extended Range / Entry Level Trimix Diver

One of the limiting factors of deeper diving is Nitrogen Narcosis. The TDI Trimix course shows you how to minimize this effect with the use of Helium in your breathing mix. During the TDI Trimix course you will learn how to plan and execute dives, with breathing mixes containing Helium, with a minimum of 18% Oxygen to a maximum depth of 60 m.
